About The Invisible Band

I got the idea to start working on The Invisible Band in early 1999. After years of playing as a side man in many bands, I wanted to create my own band with something new and different to offer:
A great sounding band that fills the price gap between live band and DJ.

The Invisible Band is a virtual band, of sorts.  By programming some of the musical elements of a live band, we can trim down the number of people in the band while improving the sound quality. This is done without compromising even one ounce of energy.

Every note of every song is programmed by hand (by me) with this thought in my mind:
"When the audience closes their eyes, they should think they are listening to a 10 piece band."

I have studied music all my life and have a good working knowledge of all musical instruments. With this knowledge I am able to program each instrument as though I were actually playing it.
The Invisible Band does not use 'samples' of pre-recorded music at any time.

The Invisible Band is mixed as a live band would be. I have real-time control over each individual instrument's volume and equalization. This mixing method is crucial to making programmed music sound live and sound great.

The Invisible Band's song list grows every day. I had originally programmed music appropriate for weddings, but when I started introducing The Invisible Band to the restaurant and club scene, I found that good rock & roll and current dance music were a necessity. Our song list now represents a huge cross section of great music from the 1940's through today's Top 40 and is constantly being updated.

I love music and I love to entertain. There's no greater satisfaction for me than putting on a great show.

Throughout our first year, the feedback has been incredible. People are raving about The Invisible Band.  I'm sure you'll think the same when you hear us!
